Yale staff honored at Live United celebration

On June 14, 2023, United Way held its annual Live United Celebration. This event highlights individuals and organizations who have gone above and beyond to invest in the future of our community in partnership with the United Way of Greater New Haven.

Joe DePonte of the School of Medicine received United Way’s Legacy Award. This award recognizes a loyal campaign leader who has been championing and leading their organization’s campaign with dedication and passion. His commitment and leadership to the Yale-United Way campaign over the decades is inspiring and has made a tangible difference in our community.

Also, Marinda Monfilston of the Office of Diversity and Inclusion received a Volunteer Impact Award for her countless volunteering hours, passion, and dedication to the Women United group.
